Hey Bubba AI has launched ActionWeave AI, an agent-orchestration platform for automating back-office functions like accounts receivable, compliance, and booking. The system negotiates with five to ten brokers at once to cut the five-to-six-hour process of booking a hard-to-cover truck. Larger organizations are already piloting the platform, which was developed over the past six to twelve months based on customer feedback.

Carriers can select from a menu of individual agents for specific tasks. The platform aims to streamline carrier operations as AI adoption accelerates across freight logistics, putting pressure on small and mid-sized fleets to improve efficiency and safety.

How it works

The ActionWeave AI platform enables carriers to negotiate with multiple brokers simultaneously via calling, emailing, and APIs. It presents carriers with a ranked set of options from these negotiations.

Integration includes ELDs for hours-of-service data, VoIP services, load boards, and telematics feeds. The platform also scans rate confirmations and bills of lading for errors, a task where AI handles scanning more reliably than humans who can miss a single digit.

The system delivers real-time location updates to brokers through automated tracking calls, which are triggered by rules defined by the carrier.

Driver-facing tools

Hey Bubba AI also offers a hands-free driver application supporting roughly 30 to 40 languages via voice commands. The app allows drivers to get information, such as at 11 p.m., without waiting for a dispatcher and without picking up a phone or looking at a tablet.

Safety directors are promoting adoption of this driver app to reduce risks associated with distracted driving.

Adoption and guidance

While larger firms are testing ActionWeave AI, most carriers with fewer than 50 to 100 trucks remain early in their AI adoption journey. Gabriel Ribeiro, Head of Partnerships and Marketing at Hey Bubba AI, recommends smaller fleets start with paid accounts for tools like Claude or ChatGPT for internal tasks.

He emphasizes that data security is most important and that inquiring about paid AI accounts should be among the first three questions carriers ask any vendor.

Larger organizations are already piloting the ActionWeave AI platform.
